Rebecca Jade Hammond
Rebecca is a Welsh partially deaf Actor, Writer, Author and Artistic Director of Chippy Lane Productions Ltd. She is represented by The Artists Partnership (acting), The Haworth Agency (playwriting/Screenwriting), CAA (Fiction/Author writing) and published by Methuen .
Her play ‘Hot Chicks’ produced by Sherman Theatre and Grand Ambition, recently received ★★★★ in The Guardian and The Stage and placed in the top 50 Shows in the UK 2025 also in The Stage. She was long-listed by The Bruntwood Prize for Writing and short-listed for The Alpine Fellowship for Theatre. Her next play ‘The Dark I Swim’ is being produced by Francesca Moody and Theatr Clwyd for Shedinburgh at Edinburgh Festival 2026 and will then transfer to The Young Vic in London.
Rebecca is currently under commission with Theatr Clwyd and Chippy Lane Productions, developing a television series and working on her first fiction novel ‘Unfinished Things’ out on option in Autumn 2026.
